Comprehensive Eye Exam

eye exam

A comprehensive eye examination is a thorough check of the entire visual system and anatomical components of the eye. Our staff and doctors will perform testing that assesses your visual acuity, check your eye pressure, and even carefully examine the eyes including the retinal tissue to screen for any diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. If needed by the patient, our doctors can also provide prescriptions for glasses and contacts. Comprehensive exams are recommended to be done once a year for all of our patients.

All of our comprehensive eye exams include Optomap Retinal Imaging, which is the highest quality in standard of care. These images help doctors in the assessment and diagnosis of retinal diseases. The images are also great teaching tools to help patients understand what is going on inside of the eyes.
